Project MA to Release Triple Album!

Project MA, the songwriting team of Here Comes Everybody alumni Michael Jarmer and Adam Fagelson, is proud to announce that “Bees,” “Extra Bees,” and “Instrumental Bees” will be streaming everywhere on October 17, 2025, and on that same glorious day, “Bees” will be available in limited edition transparent orange vinyl. 14 brand new songs written over the last year, over an hour’s worth of groovy, experimental art rock are spread out over “Bees” and “Extra Bees,” meanwhile that entire collection will be available in instrumental versions on all your favorite streaming services. Why instrumental versions? Why not, first of all. Ha! Seriously, though, Michael and Adam wanted to make just the music available for a number of pretty good reasons. Maybe listeners, not because they don’t like Michael’s singing or his words, would like to immerse themselves in the vibes and grooves created by Adam’s inventive bass playing, his percolating synth parts, and Michael’s drum set grooves. Maybe listeners want to do Project MA karaoke, or maybe the creative types want to write their own words and vocal melodies to create something totally new. Or, and this might be the key reason for an instrumental album, some aspiring film maker, or even a famous one, might find the music suitable for their movie or video project. This could result in some extra earnings for Project MA—and that would be a good thing.

“Bees” on vinyl is available for preorder right now in the Here Comes Everybody store. Right here on this very website.

You might be asking, what about a show? Well, Adam still lives in Vermont and Michael still lives in Oregon. Their musical collaboration is a transcontinental one which provides certain challenges for live performance. But there will be, perhaps, opportunities to experience something like a live show. To begin with, a listening party is scheduled for October 18, 2025, 5 o’clock in the PM at Daily Records in Milwaukie, Oregon. Michael may do his own kind of karaoke performance and might even be joined by two illustrious musical friends who both sang back ups on all the Bees, René Ormae-Jarmer and Willow Bacon.

Project MA hopes to see you there. And here’s the public service announcement: musicians love you to stream their music, but they don’t make a penny for all of their hard work unless you purchase their records, CDs, and merch. Don’t have a turntable: these beautiful records are suitable for framing! Please support independent music!
